Your desk mic stays on when the headphones connect

macOS only. Bridge and dictation now keep the microphone you had before your Bluetooth headphones connected, instead of quietly switching to an iPhone's Continuity Camera mic or another display's mic that hears nothing. A mic that opens but delivers no audio says so. Muse Code by Meta joins the coding agents you can launch in a pane.

  • Headphones on, desk mic kept. With AirPods or another Bluetooth headset connected, Automatic no longer falls back to an iPhone's Continuity Camera mic or the wrong display mic. It remembers the desk microphone you were using and keeps it, so a Bridge call or a dictation hold hears you.
  • Silence is reported, not swallowed. A microphone that opens but delivers no audio within a second now ends the take with "The microphone isn't delivering audio" and points you to Settings → Microphone, instead of resetting as if you had tapped too briefly.
  • Muse Code by Meta. Launch Meta's Muse Code as a coding agent in terminal panes and workspace lineups, alongside Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and the rest.

Added

  • Muse Code by Meta can be launched as a coding agent in terminal panes and workspace lineups.

Fixed

  • Dictation and Bridge keep using the desk microphone you had before your Bluetooth headphones connected, instead of switching to a Continuity Camera iPhone or another display's mic that hears nothing.
  • A microphone that opens but delivers no audio now says so, with a pointer to Settings → Microphone, instead of silently dropping the take.
  • BridgeMind no longer quits without warning when a chat engine's process exits at the moment the app sends it the next message; the turn ends with the engine's exit instead.
