Terms of Service
On this page
1. Agreement and Scope#
These Terms of Service are a contract between you and BridgeMind LLC, a limited liability company based in the United States (“BridgeMind,” “we”). They govern your use of the BridgeMind desktop app (the “App”), the website at bridgemind.ai, the account, billing, and authentication services we provide, and the BridgeMind backend APIs that operate those products.
The App is the current product: a native Agent Super App for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Features may be available only on certain operating systems, builds, or subscription states. Legacy desktop applications we still make available, including BridgeSpace and BridgeVoice, remain covered by these Terms until we retire them.
By accessing or using the services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the services on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
2. Eligibility and Accounts#
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the services.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials, devices, and any API keys we issue to your account secure.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account unless it results from our own failure to provide reasonable security.
3. The Services#
The App includes Agent, Code, and Thread modes, named agents, routines, a plugin gateway, in-app dictation, and related desktop functionality. The website is marketing, sign-in, checkout return URLs, changelog, and community pages. The installer may be downloaded without charge; running the App and using hosted features requires an active Basic, Pro, or Ultra subscription on the signed-in account.
Some features depend on third-party providers or local device capabilities, including payment processing, authentication, microphone access, accessibility permissions, filesystem access, terminal sessions, embedded browsers, auto-update, and coding-agent CLIs you install yourself. Features may change over time.
4. Your Content#
You retain ownership of the content you submit or store, including prompts, agents, skills, chats, support messages, uploaded files, recordings, and local project files.
For content that actually reaches our servers (for example account data, billing metadata, hosted drafting, Auto supervisor payloads, and cloud transcription), you give BridgeMind a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, modify, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the services. We do not use that content to train foundation models.
Local workspaces, chats, agent memory, plugin credentials, and terminal buffers that remain on your device are yours. We do not receive a license to those materials unless you send them to a hosted BridgeMind feature or a third-party engine or plugin you connected.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit that content and that your use of the services does not infringe or violate the rights of others.
5. Acceptable Use#
- Do not use the services for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, infringing, or abusive activity.
- Do not interfere with the security, integrity, rate limits, billing controls, or availability of the services.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access to other builders’ accounts, data, devices, workspaces, or systems — including through agents, plugins, or terminals.
- Do not upload malicious code, exploit vulnerabilities, scrape or harvest data beyond what we authorize, or bypass plan, subscription, credit, or feature restrictions.
- Do not use AI-generated output, agents, routines, or plugins in ways that violate law, privacy, employment rules, intellectual property, or the terms of third-party platforms you connect.
6. Desktop Apps, Local Systems, and Permissions#
The App can interact with local files and folders you grant, terminal and shell sessions (including on Windows, ConPTY and WSL where available), clipboard, keyboard shortcuts, microphone, accessibility features used to paste dictation, notifications, an in-app browser, and auto-update. Enabling a permission is your instruction to use it for that feature.
Named agents, Code-mode CLIs, routines, and Auto can read, write, and run commands with the privileges of your operating-system account. There is no App Sandbox. Child processes inherit the app’s Files and Folders grant. Routines run while the app is open and do not wait for a new click each time.
You are responsible for deciding what devices, folders, repositories, commands, plugins, and permissions you expose. You are responsible for maintaining backups. You are responsible for agent, routine, Auto, plugin, and terminal actions taken with those grants, including while you are away. Review commands, transcriptions, prompts, and outputs before you rely on them in production.
The App on macOS checks a signed update feed on our downloads CDN and may download updates in the background. You can turn automatic checks off in Settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription.
Legacy BridgeSpace and BridgeVoice remain able to use local files, terminals, microphones, accessibility, and (for BridgeVoice) on-device Whisper models when you enable those workflows.
7. Paid Plans and Billing#
The current paid offerings are BridgeMind Basic, Pro, and Ultra. Unless you later purchase through an app store, BridgeMind charges via Stripe and does not store full card numbers. Prices shown at checkout are in US dollars and, unless stated as tax-inclusive, may be increased by applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST.
Basic, Pro, and Ultra are each offered as a monthly or annual subscription at the price shown at checkout (currently Basic $20 per month or $192 per year; Pro $50 per month or $480 per year; Ultra $100 per month or $960 per year). Plan features (including BridgeVoice, BridgeVerse, voice orchestration, and cycle credit allotments) differ by tier as shown at checkout and on our pricing page. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term until you cancel. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method the then-current fee, tax, and renewal amount.
Cancel anytime: (a) the Stripe billing portal via Manage plan on bridgemind.ai when signed in; (b) account billing at app.bridgemind.ai; or (c) email [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid; you keep access until then. We do not prorate unused time except as in the money-back guarantee or as required by law.
First-time Pro purchases have a 7-day money-back guarantee. Email [email protected] within 7 days of the first successful charge (monthly or annual) and we will refund that charge. We then end paid access and zero unused cycle credits. Basic and Ultra purchases are not covered by the money-back guarantee. A refund or chargeback may end paid access immediately.
Each paid period includes a cycle credit allotment for the plan you buy (Basic: 5,000 credits / mo; Pro: 12,500 credits / mo; Ultra: 50,000 credits / mo, refreshed each billing month, including during an annual term). Unused cycle credits expire and do not roll over. Optional credit packs, if offered, are one-time and do not expire except on refund, chargeback, or account closure. Credits have no cash value.
If a renewal charge fails, Stripe may retry. You keep entitled access until the end of the period already paid. After that, the App and paid features stop until payment succeeds. Historical plus/max SKUs are not offered to new buyers. Existing subscribers keep their current plan entitlements until they change plan or cancel. Basic, Pro, and Ultra each include entitlement to run the App; Pro and Ultra also include the additional features listed for those tiers at checkout and on our pricing page.
Creating a new account may be paused. Checkout requires an existing account. We may change price or packaging prospectively after notice to the extent required by law.
8. AI Features and Output Disclaimer#
You are interacting with an AI system. When you chat with an agent, issue voice commands, run a routine, or otherwise use an AI feature in the App, on bridgemind.ai, or in a legacy app, you are interacting with an artificial intelligence system and not with a human. This notice is provided in accordance with Article 50(1) of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689).
The services may include AI-generated or AI-assisted output, including transcriptions, recommendations, and generated content. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, offensive, or unsuitable for your intended use.
You are responsible for reviewing and validating AI output before executing it, shipping it, publishing it, or relying on it for legal, financial, medical, employment, security, or other high-stakes decisions. Enabling Auto-accept, Full access, Auto, or a routine is a standing instruction to run later turns without a new confirmation.
9. Engines, Plugins, and Third-Party Services#
The App can launch coding-agent CLIs already installed on your machine, including Claude Code, Codex, and other engines on your PATH. Those CLIs bill through your own vendor accounts under those vendors’ terms. BridgeMind is not a party to that spend and does not control those vendors’ retention or training practices.
The plugin gateway lets you connect third-party accounts (for example GitHub, Gmail, Slack, Stripe, Notion, Linear, or ads platforms). Credentials stay on your device and are not written into engine prompts. Connecting a plugin is your instruction to let agents act through that account, subject to in-app approval for writes and spend. You must have the right to use that account, and you must comply with that vendor’s terms. Those vendors are not BridgeMind subprocessors for the data they process as your connected service.
10. Intellectual Property#
The services, including our software, branding, site content, and product design, are owned by BridgeMind or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except as these Terms allow, you may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, create derivative works from, or otherwise use our protected materials without permission. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses. Reverse engineering of those components is governed by their licenses, not this restriction.
11. Suspension and Termination#
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other builders or us, failed to pay fees, or if we are required to do so by law.
You may stop using the services at any time. Stopping use or deleting the app does not cancel a paid subscription; cancel through the billing portal. Certain provisions of these Terms, including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and rights related to content already processed, will survive termination.
12. Disclaimers#
The services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation. We do not warrant that agents, terminals, plugins, or Auto will not delete, alter, send, spend, or publish data you exposed to them. We do not scan agent output for malware.
13. Limitation of Liability#
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BridgeMind and its affiliates, officers, employees, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunities, including damage caused by agent, routine, plugin, or terminal actions you authorized.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the applicable service during the 12 months before the claim arose or $100.
14. Changes to These Terms#
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the services after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
