- Local transcription
- With a downloaded local model, speech recognition runs on your device. Model downloads, account access, and connected features can still require the internet.
- Cloud transcription
- Select cloud mode when you want hosted transcription. Audio is sent for processing, so choose this mode deliberately.
- Optional prompt rewrites
- Polish and Enhance Prompt use hosted AI and BridgeMind credits. They are separate from local transcription. Review rewritten instructions before sending them.
