Clearer chats and a quicker Mac welcome

macOS. New chats receive useful titles, Claude respects the selected permissions, and text selection stays intact. A shorter 3D welcome introduces the app, while voice stays in the composer with simpler settings.

  • Long chats now show their token count in millions or billions — "1.8M tokens" instead of "1811.8k tokens" — matching the usage dashboard.

Fixed

  • Selecting text in the composer keeps the selection intact, and its focus ring appears as soon as the field receives focus.
  • Make Full access work in Claude agent chats while keeping tool credentials private, and explain when Claude rejects the selected permissions.

Removed

  • Remove the top-notch activity overlay and all Fn/globe-key bindings, settings, and setup prompts; voice input remains available through the in-app controls.
