Responsive previews and reliable desktop recovery

Windows. Preview phone and tablet layouts, recover stalled sessions, retry updates, start PowerShell from Settings, and manage the workspace list without losing project files or history. Linux candidates follow after Windows verification.

  • Preview Windows browser panes in desktop, phone, or tablet layouts, rotate the viewport, and fit the page into a split pane without losing its CSS dimensions.

  • Keep phone and tablet preview widths accurate in narrow Windows panes, including the smallest supported preview size.
  • Prevent duplicate voice follow-up delivery and stop pending delivery when a call ends or its target changes.
  • Keep Windows open with a retryable error when it cannot start an update installer.
  • Provider failures explain the failing stage, and silent chat turns end with recovery guidance while active tools and approval waits stay running.
  • Find the plugin catalog in Settings → General, with clear guidance that connections are not available in this build.
  • Workspace restore and terminal startup fail with a retry option when a native operation stops responding.
  • A terminal renderer that fails to load stays inside its pane and can be retried without losing the layout.
  • Workspace and layout errors explain unavailable folders and save failures while protecting your user and credential folders.
  • Code workspaces can be removed from the list with confirmation while keeping project files, sessions and history; adding the same folder restores the entry.
  • Switching or closing a terminal pane releases pending output without writing to its disposed renderer, so returning to a live session can continue receiving output.
  • Streamed chat text preserves spaces, headings, and closed code blocks as messages arrive.
  • Choosing PowerShell under Settings → Terminal now starts Windows PowerShell instead of failing with "The terminal session could not start." on PCs without PowerShell 7.
  • Linux sign-in opens the browser through the desktop portal and falls back to the system URL handler when the portal is missing or does not answer, so a portal error no longer strands a sign-in the browser can still finish.
  • While waiting for the browser, the sign-in screen now says when the browser could not be opened, and a refused sign-in start explains why instead of a generic failure.

Security

  • Long malformed markdown cannot stall chat rendering through repeated link parsing.
  • Automatic repository context for voice remains disabled while its source privacy checks and rollout validation are completed.
