Tasks, coding threads, and agent setup

Windows. Organize local Tasks, ask Bridge to execute them with review, manage coding threads by voice, and install supported coding agents inside the app.

  • Tasks with progress and review. Keep projects, comments and history locally, then run Tasks in dedicated workspaces with Stop and Resume controls.
  • Coding threads by voice. Create and configure separate coding threads while keeping drafts and their target agents intact.
  • Install agents where you work. Review the install command, follow it in a terminal, then check availability and sign in.

Added

  • Install supported coding agents from a confirmed command in a visible terminal, then check availability and sign in without leaving the app.
  • Choose the provider and model directly in the Agent message composer while preserving conversation drafts.
  • Orchestrate workspace coding chats by voice: create distinct threads, preserve drafts, configure review or planning mode, and follow each agent by its thread.
  • Manage local Tasks with projects, labels, comments, history and revocable MCP connections, including offline access.
  • Ask Bridge to execute Tasks in dedicated workspaces with saved progress, independent review and stop/resume controls.
  • Use voice to navigate app destinations, find panes, open saved agents, inspect settings and credits, and hand off work into a new Thread conversation.
  • See distinct action icons for voice commands across workspaces, teammates and app controls.
  • Choose Bridge’s GPT Live voice, tone and response length in Settings.
  • Opt in to local Bridge memory for builder facts, notes and short call journals, with controls to edit or clear them.
  • Keep bounded private local crash reports for diagnosing native startup and runtime failures.

Changed

  • Start listening while voice connections initialize, with bounded microphone buffering and clear mute behavior.
  • Refresh the Bridge orb, simplify the voice strip, and improve contrast and keyboard navigation across controls.
  • Rename Chat mode to Thread across navigation and accessibility, while preserving saved conversations, settings, and agent chats.

Fixed

  • Google sign-in on Windows accepts bounded large local-browser cookie headers and explains callback rejection categories without exposing request data.
  • Verify speaker echo cancellation before voice calls and request system-wide cancellation when supported by WebView2.
  • Keep unsaved task titles and properties when another writer updates a task, and edit existing descriptions with explicit save and cancel controls.
  • Retry briefly when Windows temporarily locks a saved sign-in file, and improve private diagnostics when sign-in storage is unavailable.
  • Preserve validated Windows executable paths containing reserved device names across Windows versions.
  • Enforce the four-task execution limit, preserve retry instructions and make Stop reliable during concurrent progress updates.
  • Preserve successful Codex responses after reconnecting, while keeping failed or incomplete turns marked unsuccessful.
  • Keep the update version and Installing status visible while the installer starts, with a clear retry action on failure.

Security

  • Require account access for task execution and stop its agents when access ends; local task records remain available offline.
  • Preserve saved microphone permissions, deny requests from foreign webview origins, and stop delayed voice commands after a call ends.
  • Refuse voice access to credential files and redact credential-shaped text in tool results and handoff transcripts.
  • Keep Bridge memory off by default, reject credential-shaped notes, and preserve unreadable memory files without overwriting them.
  • Omit panic payloads and private paths from local crash reports; reports are not uploaded.
