Automatic saves and reliable session recovery
macOS. Save Files edits automatically, restore terminal folders after updates, and protect Bluetooth playback during background wake listening.
- Keep your edits saved. Files saves after you stop typing, with a manual-save option in General settings.
- Resume where you left off. Restore terminal folders reported by shell integrations, including folders with spaces.
- Protect AirPods playback. Background wake listening pauses on Bluetooth routes while click-to-talk stays available.
Added
- Files editor changes save automatically after you stop typing; turn Auto-save off in Settings → General to save manually.
Fixed
- Turning off Auto-save prevents pending debounce timers from saving, and explicit saves cancel their timer.
- Resume terminal sessions whose saved folders use shell-reported file URLs; plain shells with missing folders reopen at the workspace root.
- Pause background wake listening on Bluetooth audio routes to protect AirPods playback; click-to-talk remains available.
- Keep wake-word audio route checks off the main thread and discard activation after listening stops.
- Find connected services through consistent Settings → Plugins directions.
- Keep browser preview release checks reliable during page loads and desktop reloads.
- Keep dictation release checks synchronized with recording, upload, and transcript completion.
