Threads that remember your setup
macOS only. New threads remember your model, effort and access choices, one mode menu keeps the composer compact, and Dashboard cards highlight or close their agents.

- Pick once. A new thread opens on the provider, model, reasoning effort and access you last chose. Each provider keeps its own.
- One mode menu. Plan, Agent and the agent's permission level sit behind one icon in the thread composer.
- Find the pane. Click a Code-mode agent on the Dashboard and its pane flashes with a pulsing accent ring.
Added
- Clicking a Code-mode agent on the Dashboard flashes its pane with a pulsing accent ring so you can spot it at a glance, with a steady ring when Reduce Motion is on.
- Close an agent from its Dashboard card, with confirmation before ending an active turn and archived chat history available to restore.
Changed
- The thread composer is cleaner: Plan, Agent and the agent’s permission level now live behind one icon dropdown, and Thread mode no longer shows the voice button or a separate permissions chip.
Fixed
- A new thread now opens on the provider, model, reasoning effort and access level you last picked, instead of resetting to the defaults every time; each provider remembers its own choices.
- Keep working-status dots in place when Dashboard cards appear or move.
