BridgeVoice 4.0 release
Includes the redesigned BridgeVoice 4.0 experience, responsive Fn hold-to-talk, and MAI-Transcribe 2 cloud transcription, with corrected cross-platform packaging.
- A clearer BridgeVoice. A refreshed dashboard, settings, and sign-in experience, plus a smaller floating pill with precise dragging and readable error panels.
- Responsive Fn hold-to-talk. Press Fn to start and release to stop audio intake, including quick taps and releases during microphone startup.
- MAI-Transcribe 2 cloud transcription. Cloud mode uses MAI-Transcribe 2 through OpenRouter, with stage-by-stage latency diagnostics for performance review.
Added
- Typed native contracts and shared services for model operations, preferences, history, and account state.
Changed
- Redesigned dashboard and compact widget, with persistent, scrollable error messages.
- Cloud transcription defaults to MAI-Transcribe 2 through the BridgeMind API and OpenRouter.
Fixed
- Recording cancellation retains ownership until pending native work finishes, preventing overlapping takes and late delivery.
- Model activation waits for idle recording state and preserves the existing engine if preparation fails.
- History migration preserves legacy files, and preference updates no longer replace unrelated settings.
- Aligned the Tauri frontend and native runtime versions so signed installers build for every supported platform.
