What is BridgeVoice?

Is my voice data actually private?
In local mode, yes — all audio is processed entirely on your device using whisper.cpp compiled in Rust. No audio leaves your machine, no telemetry, no analytics. In cloud mode, audio is encrypted over HTTPS and sent to the BridgeMind API for transcription via Groq Whisper. You choose which mode fits your needs.
How do I get access to BridgeVoice?

Local mode offers 6 on-device Whisper models: Tiny (75 MB, fastest), Base (142 MB), Small (466 MB, recommended), Medium (1.5 GB), Large-v3 (3.1 GB, highest accuracy), and Turbo (fast large model). Cloud mode uses Groq Whisper Large-v3-Turbo for maximum accuracy across 99+ languages.
Do I need special hardware?
BridgeVoice works with any microphone, including built-in laptop mics. It handles stereo-to-mono conversion and sample rate resampling automatically. For best results, a quality headset or external mic is recommended.
